Best DIY Body Scrubs

I am absolutely obsessed with body scrubs. I used to spend tons of money on pricey  ones, but I have found that i have everything I  need at home to make a wide variety of body scrubs that are even better than what I have bought in the past. I am going to list some of my favorites. The best part is you can mix and match ingredients  or substitute for what you prefer.

Olive Oil Scrubs

I always have olive oil on hand so I like to add 1/4 cup of olive oil to 1 cup sea salt and add 5 drops of peppermint.

I also enjoy using 1 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup olive oil and 1 tsp of vanilla extract.

Sea Salt is fabulous and  makes my rough winter skin silky and soft

Add 1/4 cup olive oil to 1 cup Sea Salt and add 6 drops of lavender

Safflower Oil Scrubs

I love taking 1/4 cup safflower oil adding in a cup or Sea Salt and add 5 drops of your favorite essential oil

Safflower Oil 1/4  cup and 1 cup of sugar and 4 drops of lavender and 4 drops of mint oils is a favorite

Coffee Scrub

Not everyone has tried these but they promote youthful skin and weight loss

I add 1 cup fresh Coffee Grinds to 1/4  cup your choice of oil I like coconut oil the best but safflower and Olive oils work good too.

This time of year I also like to do a morning lip scrub to keep my lips from being flaky and dry

Lip Scrub

Tablespoon of sugar add teaspoon of olive  oil and 2 drops of peppermint mix well coat lips and use old toothbrush to rub into lips wash off with warm water and i just coat my lips with gloss or vaseline and enjoy smooth silky lips all day.
