I am going to be 38 this September. I have been struggling to figure out my new normal. Back in 2013 I had reached 118 pounds and I thought that was my fat weight. Now you have to know I am a very petite build short in stature and always had worn double zeros until I hit 30 then I was in 0 and 2. Don’t hate me it’s just my build and genetics. However after I got engaged at end of 2013 and started gaining a lot of weight. I did not notice until before leaving for the honeymoon I noticed everything was very tight and not fitting well. Then it was a 15 day cruise and we definitely consumed a lot of calories and I did not get in any workouts. By the time I started to exercise juice and get weight to start coming off and then we were blessed with an unexpected pregnancy and even though I was sick for most of it I still managed to gain about 30 pounds and when I left hospital I had edema and had gained an extra 20 pounds of water weight and was even heavier than when I arrived at hospital. That weight did shed off pretty quick while I was breast-feeding in the first few weeks. However I have been stuck at a range of 132-136 ever since and my daughter is now 18 months old. I will admit I have not been on a regular workout plan. But my diet is pretty healthy I just won’t give up pasta and sweets completely as I love food. But I have gone through hormonal changes like night sweats and two separate months I was growing facial hair which was disturbing. I have had issues falling asleep as well. I am working on getting on a healthier meal plan and trying a cleanse. I also want to plan to workout at least three days a week for one hour. I am going to get my first physical in quite sometime later this month. So I am hoping that might show me where I should be at since I feel like my gut is uncomfortably big and keep reading how people have up to 20 pounds of built of waste and toxins that they are not flushing out. I wonder if that is the case for me. I want to be healthy size for my height build and age and I want to be stronger and more toned.
