Cooking Shows

I don’t know about you but I have been addicted to watching cooking shows for past few years. Giada De Laurentis seems to have the most shows that I watch and actually make the food she prepares. The Pioneer Woman is another favorite of mine but I have not cooked much of her dishes yet. Lately I started watching Dinner at Tiffani’s This one is great has some wonderful ideas and is very entertaining as she always has celebrity friends in the kitchen with her. I have not had a chance to watch Martha & Snoop Dog together . I know that has got to be a hell of a show. I am really eager to learn more in the kitchen and expand my abilities and give my family diverse meals and flavors.

I love that my son already enjoys helping in the kitchen and  really wants to learn  how to cook. My goal is to have him fully cooking amazing meals on his own by the time he is out of junior high. I did not know how to cook much of anything when I moved out of the house. I really did not start learning to cook until my son turned 2 years old and I was 29 years old.

I am excited about cooking the more I watch these and implement them into real life. That is one of the reasons I fell in love with my Martha and Marley Spoon boxes they have given me confidence and happiness. I feel better about myself  every time I do something with a meal that I have never done before. When I get to use an appliance or cooking tool I have not used much. Well this Food show junkie is ready for bed. Goodnight and thanks for reading.

  1. Giada is a household word over this way! We love her. I also like Barefoot Contessa…but mainly just for laughs lol!
