Disneyland/California Adventure

My son turned 11 this past Saturday October 21st. So to celebrate we took him and his two best friends Blake and Noah with us to Disneyland/ California Adventure for the day.

We left at 7am and first took the kids to Starbucks for coffee and treats. Then when we arrived to Anaheim we checked into the Grand Californian Hotel before entering the park. The boys were very excited.

When we got to the ticket booth it was packed and we were able to get the boys park hopper tickets and add max pass. However we weren’t able to add it to my sons annual pass or mine due to technical difficulties they were having they told me to just pay for daily rate on my phone app.

I wanted us to skip it at that point and just so no max pass but the worker pushed it. Anyhow we got in line for California Adventure Park and took the kids to Guardians of the Galaxy first. I was a little bugged that even after that ride which had an hour wait and was well worth it as it’s a super fun ride. I was frustrated that I’d been charged two times for the two max passes and it wasn’t working so since ours weren’t working it was stopping our whole group from using the max pass advantage.

We decided to go to California Screamin ride next and got a delicious Churro on the way. We did the single rider line me and my husband the kids went in regular line And we waited for them as we got on and off super quick.

Then the boys were hungry so we went and got some 🍕 pizza and salads for 🥗 lunch. Then we made our way over to Grizzly Rapids my husband sat that ride out but me and the boys enjoyed it and got soaked.

After that we headed over to Soaring the World and we all really enjoyed that ride. The boys wanted to head to Cars Land and go on Radiator Springs Racers which we did single riders so glad we did the fast pass line looked to be over an hour long.

Once we got off that we all got snacks I was craving a pickle and then we headed into Disneyland. Mind you the Max passes I was double charged for still not working. I decided to give up at that point.

We decided to go on the train 🚂 and the kids wanted to get off the first stop so they could go on Pirates of the Caribbean my husband and I decided to take it all the way around so we gave them all their money.

My sons friend Noah dropped his $40 almost right after thank goodness some honest people grabbed it and he was able to get it back. My husband Jeff and I really enjoyed the train ride and we got off where the boys did but they weren’t on the ride yet.

So we waited for them to get off and went to Big Thunder Mountain we had so much fun Jeff and the boys were being silly 🙃 asking questions to random people and telling people to not look the goat in the eyes.

After the ride Blake realized he left his phone behind so he and I raced back before the train left and retrieved it. Then we all decided we were hungry and had grilled cheese and tomato soup and got the Birthday Boy chocolate Cake.

After that we headed into tomorrow land and went on Autopia ride and then off to Space Mountain which had a long wait but well worth it . My legs were so sore by this point .

We purchased a picture of the group which came out greAt 👍🏻 The boys headed to the Matterhorn and we headed to main street told them to meet us by train. We got something to drink and I went into a store to get my little girl two shirts since she didn’t get to come on the trip.

The boys met us and we all made our way back to the hotel. They had so much energy and stayed up playing cards. I took a hot bath and headed to bed but my husband snores I am sure more that night from exhaustion so it took me awhile to fall asleep.

We woke up everyone took their showers got dressed then we got on the road went to Starbucks and Mc Donald’s. We got back into the Desert met up with Blake’s family first to drop off. Then we dropped Noah off to his parents. We had such a great time we love those boys.

We rested once home then got kids ready met my family out at The Old Spaghetti Factory for Brandon’s Birthday dinner. Great dinner and weekend but we all were  super exhausted.

Hope everyone had a great weekend 🏡🎉🎁🎈❤️🎂🍕🚂🎃🙌🕶
